Day 3 Morning Depart for an Excursion to Pedong town seen Damsang Dzong Which was built, during the reign of the fourth Deb Raja of Bhutan It was here that the Anglo-Bhutan war was fought and Kalimpong was ceded to the British in1865. Jeeps take you close enough to the interesting ruins. The fifteen minutes walk then, is a rare and memorable experience as you walk through centuries-old forest with spectacular and unusual flora. Also visit an ancient monastery built in 1832.
